"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
(John 15:5)

Ephesians

Ephesians was written by the Apostle Paul during his imprisonment in Rome (60-61 A.D.) In this Epistle Paul writes about Jesus Christ and about the "mystery of the gospel." The mystery is that God loves the whole world, and Jesus died to save Gentiles as well as Jews. So the church must be a missionary community, always reaching out to the non-Christian world to bring all kinds of people to a saving knowledge of Christ and into true unity in the body of Christ. Paul calls himself an ambassador in chains, imprisoned because of his declaration of this mystery of the gospel, and he asks for prayer that he may fearlessly proclaim the gospel.

The following lessons are designed to help you to dig deeper into the Scriptures. (For your study, you can use the Online NIV Bible from BibleGateway.com). If you want to study the Bible with a man or woman of God on a personal basis, please contact us via e-mail.
